Tips for juice storage
Make more than one batch. Enjoy half the juice you make, then store the rest. We like to use BPA free 28oz Blender Bottles. They are dishwasher safe, BPA / phthalate-free and come in three sizes: 20-ounce, 28-ounce and 32-ounce.
Store in the refrigerator right away. Your juice will keep for 24-48 hours in the refrigerator (72 hours is the maximum time suggested). If you are traveling, bring your juice in a cooler with ice packs.
Keep juice in airtight containers. Ideally you would store your juices in glass airtight containers for best results. But if you have an active lifestyle like us & like to take your juice with you, we suggest the Blender Bottles.
Fill the container full. Fill juice to the top of your preferred container to prevent oxygen from getting in which will deplete the nutrients. The nutrients literally go into “Thin air.” We like to fill our containers close to the top with juice, then top them off with filtered water.
Freeze. Freezing is an option but less desirable than refrigeration. If you do freeze your juice do it immediately after juicing. Thaw in the refrigerator and drink within 7-10 days of the original freezing date.
Store in the an ideal environment. Your juice should be stored in a dark, cold environment away from heat and light. Ideally in your refrigerator!
